From concept to reality
I first got the idea to work with horses as learning aids in 2011 when I conceived 2 workshops for an association who organized NeuroLinguistic Programming sessions : Participants appreciated to experience and learn NLP techniques such as calibration, synchronization, illustrated through the relations to horses. While doing the excercises, they got rapidly aware of non verbal components of communication.
As a result, « Le Cheval Formateur » was born in 2013, based on the knowledge I built around horses – I got 4 horses and kept one of them for more than 20 years ! – my experience as manager both of hierarchical and cross-division teams, and on my NLP practice – I graduated master-practitioner in 2003.
When and how horses can help your teams improve their efficiency
Improving quality of the communication between the team lead and team members:
It may be a managing team, a distant or virtual team…whose team lead assesses some progress exist in communication or relationships in the team.
Another context where communicating with congruence and reinforcing confidence links are essential : career guidance and counselling. Various workshops on these topics are regularly scheduled.
Make a remote multidisciplinary team quickly efficient
When implementing a cross-divisional team with members who more or less know each others–because they don’t belong to the same site, division or function, Le Cheval Formateur will help the team meet the required expectations in terms of efficiency.
An integration day with Le Cheval Formateur will trigger the communication ability between team members and offer experiences of common objectives achievement outside the typical professional frame. The prevailing touch of humor will boost the learning process.
Finding a way out of a crisis situation
Le Cheval Formateur will allow each actor to get aware of her/his communication style and of its compatibility – that may vary from one style to another – with that of her/his colleagues. Specific exercices will reflect environment constraints in a metaphoric way and will highlight helping behaviors.
Coaching
As part of a coaching process, the benefits for the coachee are to experience:
-
Listening and communication skills, assertiveness, being active, proactive or reactive in unusual situations,
-
The ability to lead others while being guided by intuition,
-
Controlling and letting go in an instant,
-
The power of perseverance beyond barriers and the effects of getting mobilized on a goal,
-
Awareness as a preliminary condition to any attempt to change.
